Sixteenth of October II

Woah I forgot to post this, after a few friends informing me that I ended up in the Daily Star. Yes, very unclassy. But ha I used my initiative to contact the photographer, and this is how the story goes so far..

Hi Katherine,

I hope you didn't mind me taking your picture too much. My brief was to get
pictures of people enjoying the unusually warm weather and you pretty much
summed up the vibe of the day - relaxed and taking advantage of the last few
rays before winter descends.

I am pleased you have got in touch, it shows some really creative
initiative! Making the most of your given situation and turning things to
your advantage is a must in professional photography so you get some bonus
points there!!

I have had a quick look at your flickr and you have shot some real nice
stuff.

I have got some busy days doing some business profiles over in Bmth in the
next few weeks. If you want come and assist on a couple of jobs I would be
more than happy to show you some of the things I do with commercial clients.
Let me know if you fancy it.

Many thanks,

Hello Daniel,

My name is Katherine and today I was informed I was in The Daily Star,
and to my belief I was, at first I was not impressed! However I saw your
name,
and was sure I had come across your work when browsing the internet for
photographers
before. I had a look and yeah I have bookmarked your page already.

I am a student at the AIB and am quite interested in photography as it is,
and am
currently taking a Visual Communication course so that in the near future I
am able
to work with many media but still able to incorporate photography. I really
want to
learn more about it and I am not sure if there is anything you can do but
any help
would be much appreciated. I have a fairly experimental approach to it at
the moment
and would like to learn a little more about the commercial side, portraits
and landscapes
especially.

Thankyou very much
Katherine Weaver

So yeah, there you have it so far.
